Copper Group signs $30M refi with Cross River Bank for new 60-unit rental in Crown Heights
Copper Group through the entity 253 LLC as borrower signed a refi loan with lender Cross River Bank valued at $30 million for the 60-unit new construction property at 375 Rogers Avenue also known as 253 Empire Boulevard in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The property was given a TCO on January 22, 2021.
The deal closed on December 30, 2021 and was recorded on January 11, 2022. The prior lender was Cross River Bank which held debt that had an original loan amount of $30 million.
The signatory for Copper Group was Hosea Deitsch. The signatory for Cross River Bank was Shimon Eisikowicz.
According to The Real Deal, this new development is owned by Copper Group.
On the tax block, the majority, or 69 percent of the 344,211 square feet of built space are residential elevator buildings, with 1-4 family buildings next occupying 22 percent of the space.
