Community Counseling and Mediation files plans for 20-unit resi building in East New York

Community Counseling and Mediation, on May 11, filed a permit application for construction of a 20-unit, 49,623-square-foot residential building at 749 Snediker Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. Emory Brooks filed the plans.

The plans call for the construction of an 89-foot tall, nine-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number B00505340. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: Construction of nine-story residential and supportive housing new building.

According to the plans, the building will have 20 dwelling units in the form of Class-A apartments as well as 47 sleeping accommodations in connection with a non-profit institution.

Per the plans, the ground floor will have a lobby. The second floor will have four dwelling units, non-profit office space, a terrace, and community room. The third floor will have nine dwelling units, a terrace, and laundry. Floors four through six will each have 10 dwelling units per floor, and floors seven through nine will have eight dwelling units per floor.

Magnusson Architecture and Planning is listed as the architect.

The property was acquired with two other properties for $935,000 on February 5, 2020.
