City permitted for 85K sf school building in Morrisania

The New York City School Construction Authority, on March 3, was given a permit for construction of a 85,995-square-foot school building at 639 St. Anns Avenue in Morrisania.

The plans, pre-filed on October 10, 2019, call for the construction of a 58-foot tall, four-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: p.s. 487 – x (x487) : construction of a four-story educational structure on block: 2359 and lot: 100 ( merged lot 100 and 75). Zoning calculations and egress analysis also filed herewith. The location is not on a flood zone area.
