City files plans for construction of a 100,000-sf building at school in Springfield Gardens

The New York City School Construction Authority on August 15, filed a permit application for construction of a 100,000-square-foot school building at 129-33 155th Street, also known as 156-49 132nd Avenue, in Springfield Gardens, Queens. Joseph Scalisi filed the plans. The estimated job cost is $70 million. The city owns the land which is a city block on which sits the August Martin High School.

The plans call for the construction of a building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00793388.

The project is described in the filing as: new building.
