City files plans for a $4.9M exterior rehab of school in Jamaica Hills

The New York City School Construction Authority, on May 6, filed plans for a $4.9 million exterior rehabilitation of a school at 160-05 Highland Avenue in Jamaica Hills, Queens.

The plans call for work on the exterior of the 63-foot-tall, four-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00732903.

The project is described in the filing as: remove, replace concrete pavement, replace brick pavers with concrete, grate and mounting with galvanized steel grating, deteriorated brick stairs with concrete stairs, install handrails, repair chain link and iron fences damaged light fixtures, rebuild retaining wall.

The architect listed is Raman & Oundjian Engineers & Architects.
