Sloan Kettering files plans for $7.7M multi-floor rehab in UES
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, on November 3, filed a permit application for a $7.7 million rehabilitation of several floors of its building at 530 East 74th Street in the Upper East Side.
The plans call for a rehab of floors five, 10, and 11 of the 416-foot tall, 22-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation as shown on drawings filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $7,657,000.00.
E4H Environments for Health Architecture is listed as the architect.
Plans were filed to construct the 531,629-square-foot treatment facility, known as the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, in November of 2013.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is considered the world’s oldest and largest private cancer center.
