Camber Property pays $29.5M to Omni New York for Bronx portfolio

Camber Property Group through the entity Brook & Brown Housing Development Fund Corporation paid Omni New York’s Brookhaven Housing Development Fund Company, Inc $29.5 million for 198 Brown Place, 202 Brown Place, 500 East 137th Street and others in the Bronx. The deal closed on October 30, 2020, and was recorded on November 18, 2020. The transaction consists of 6 parcels, including the tax class multifamily, converted (D5) and containing 127 residential units. The parcels have total built space and development potential of 85,278 square feet.
The sale price per unit is $232,283.

The contract date was July 21, 2020. The last time the property sold was December 30, 2004 for $7,500,000.
