Brookfield Asset Management and Jeff Sutton borrow $587M from Apollo Global Management for 730 Fifth retail in Plaza District

Brookfield Asset Management and Jeff Sutton through the entity 730 Fifth Retail, LLC as borrower signed a loan agreement with lender Apollo Global Management through the entity Acrefi Holdings J-I, LLC valued at $587.3 million for the retail condo at 730 Fifth Avenue in the Plaza District. The deal closed on August 26, 2019 and was recorded on September 13, 2019.

The outstanding secured debt was reduced on this retail condo from $600 million to $587 million, the assignment from Deutsche Bank to Apollo shows.
