Boston Properties files plans for $14.5M multi-floor rehab at 599 Lexington
Boston Properties, on August 10, filed plans for a $14.5 million rehabilitation of three floors of an office building at 599 Lexington Avenue in the Plaza District, Manhattan.
The plans call for work on floors 10 through 12 of the 650-foot-tall, 47-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00559588.
The project is described in the filing as: interior renovation of floors 10 through 12 as per plans filed herewith. Updates on interior layout, no change to use, egress or occupancy.
According to their website, the law firm Friedman & Wittenstein occupies the 12th floor of the building.
Last year the law firm Shearman & Sterling tacked on 20 additional years to its lease for 338,000 square feet of space in the building.
The architect listed is Perkins + Will.
