Benjamin-Beechwood files plans for 237 units in Arverne

Gerry Romski, affiliated with the Benjamin-Beechwood partnership of Benjamin Development Company and Beechwood Organization submitted a new building construction project for a 237-unit, 261,313 square-foot residential (R-2) building at 141 Beach 67th Street in Arverne, Queens. The plan was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings on November 3, 2022 under job number Q08031880. It calls for the construction of a 12-story building. The project is described in the filing as: construct a 12-story multifamily residential complex with commercial space and open parking on the ground floor. The architect is Fxcollaborative Architects LLP.
The plans calls for retail stores, surfboard storage and other uses on the first floor, and between 17 and 24 residential units each on floors two through 12.
Benjamin-Beechwood filed similar plans for 126 units at 190 Beach 69th Street in Arverne in 2015, The Real Deal reported at the time.
