Ben Harlev’s Arava Group is fully permitted for construction of a 78-unit, 58K sf residential building in Lower East Side

Ben Harlev’s Arava Group, on March 30, was given a permit for construction of a 78-unit, 58,161-square-foot residential building at 167 Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side.

The plans pre-filed on August 21, 2018, call for the construction of a 170-foot tall, 16-story, residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct 16 story mixed use new building as per plans filed

Harlev acquired the property through a $9.5 million ground lease.

Eran Chen’s ODA was listed as the architect for the project.
