Amit Tank of Samnon Associates files plans for 95-unit residential building in Flatbush
Amit Tank of Samnon Associates, on August 3, filed a permit application for construction of a 95-unit, 86,064-square-foot residential building at 406 Remsen Avenue in Flatbush.
The plans call for the construction of a 80-foot tall, eight-story, 86,064-square-foot residential building with 95 residential units.
The project is described in the filings as: new building application herewith being filed for proposed eight-story with community facility and residential units.
The ground floor of the building will be used for community facility space in the form of a library, according to the plans. Floors two through six will each have 13 dwelling units, the seventh floor will have 12 dwelling units, and the eighth floor will have 11 dwelling units. The roof of the building will provide a recreation area and the cellar will provide 52 parking spaces.
The property is located between East 58th Street and Lenox Road. The property’s closest subway is the Saratoga Avenue station, serviced by the 3 and 4 trains.
Asher Hershkowitz Architect is the architect on the application.
No demolition plans have been filed at the property.
