Alf Naman files plans to convert garage to eight-unit resi building in WV

Alf Naman Real Estate, on July 26, filed plans for a $7.7 million project to convert a public parking garage to a five-story residential building with eight dwelling units at 738 Greenwich Street in West Village, Manhattan. The new building will be 51,632 square feet. Donnchadh Malone, who handles development for the firm, filed the plans.

The developer purchased the site for $64.2 million on May 13, 2022.

The plans call for the increase in size of the building from a 48-foot tall, four-story garage to a 79-foot tall, five-story building with eight dwelling units. This was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00769995.

The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 92 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: Alteration-CO for partial demolition of existing four-story public parking garage and conversion and enlargement to a five-story multi-family residential building with accessory parking storage.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby and parking. Several of the dwelling units will be duplex and triplex units. Multiple units will have terraces.

The architect listed is Ismael Leyva Architects, P.C.
