Adam America, Hampshire Properties, pay $22M to Durso Associates for UWS air rights

Adam America Real Estate and Hampshire Properties through the entity UWS AA BSD LLC (and others) paid Durso Associates’s 2465 Broadway Associates, L.L.C. $22.1 million for air rights from 2465 Broadway in the Upper West Side. The deal closed on December 31, 2019, and was recorded on January 13, 2020.

Hampshire purchased 68,965 square feet of development rights from Durso, as well as the right to cantilever over Durso’s property, which is at 2465 Broadway. The agreement now gives Hampshire 122,649 square feet of development rights, including that of its own parcel at 2461 and 2463 Broadway.
