65K sf Stop & Shop lease recorded at Jemal’s Five Towns Shopping Center

The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company LLC, as tenant, signed a memorandum of lease with landlord ISJ Management through its entity Rockaway Realty Associates LP at the Five Towns Shopping Center at 252-25 Rockaway Boulevard on the Queens and Nassau border. The memorandum was signed on October 18, 2019 and was recorded on September 4, 2020

Stop & Shop signed a 15-year lease for 65,000 square feet at the Five Towns Shopping Center on the border of Queens and Nassau counties. The lease was signed in October 2019 but not recorded until Friday. The space was formerly occupied by a Kmart. The lease contains five renewal options for five additional years each. Isaac Jemal is president of ISJ Management, according to his LinkedIn page. The signatory for ISJ was Samuel Jemal, identified as president of the LLC that owns the parcel. ISJ obtained a $10 million building loan in March 2020 for the property.
