Sale briefs: Meadow pays $170M to Columbia Property; David Werner pays $27M in Midtown
Meadow Partners in a joint venture with the California Public Employees Retirement System paid $170 million to the real estate investment trust Columbia Property Trust for the 166,000-square foot office building at 218 West 18th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. The sale closed on December 3, 2021, and was recorded on December 21, 2021. The signatory for Meadow was the company’s founder and managing partner Jeffrey Kaplan and the signatory for Columbia was Kevin A. Hoover. The Real Deal reported on the sale earlier this month.
Investor David Werner paid Heller Properties $27.25 million for the five-story, 15,200-square-foot mixed-use building at 525 Madison Avenue in Midtown. The signatory for Heller Properties was Melvin S. Heller and for the buyer was David Werner. Direct link to Acris document. link
