Hudson Cos. files plans for 302 affordable units in Gowanus

Hudson Companies submitted a new building construction project for a 302-unit, 274,205 square-foot residential (R-2) building with community facility space, at 20 5th Street in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The plan was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings on February 24, 2026 under job number B01337345. It calls for the construction of a 28-story building. The project is described in the filing as: Herewith filing 100 percent HPD affordable housing, 28 stories, new building with accessory offices. Sally Gilliland, a principal and COO at Hudson Companies, through the entity Boulevard Together Developer LLC, filed the plans. The architect is Marvel Architects.
It was not clear from the filing what portion of the existing tax lot 1 on block 471 would be carved out to create tax lot 50.
