David Haddad’s Fashion Options property receives TCO following a $2M rehab of the retail space in mixed-use, Nomad building
David Haddad’s Fashion Options, on June 10, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $1.5 million renovation of the cellar and ground floor retail space in a 43,000-square-foot mixed-use building at 1165 Broadway in Nomad. The TCO was issued as the building’s occupancy classification transitioned from commercial to business.
The plans call for no change in size of the 63-foot tall, 5-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: it is proposed to renovate cellar, first floor retail spaces, change egress and obtain certificate of occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,514,000.
The ground floor of the building is used for retail while floors two through five, as well as the PEN floor, are used for office space. The rehab added a boiler room, electrical rooms, a water pump room, and an elevator lobby to the cellar.
Matt Markowitz & Associates is the architect on file.
