Life sciences REIT files plans for $4M single-floor rehab at Alexandria building in Kips Bay
The real estate investment trust Alexandria Real Estate Equities, on June 3, filed a permit application for a $4.3 million rehabilitation of one floor of The Alexandria Center for Science and Technology at 430 East 29th Street in Kips Bay.
The plans call for a renovation of the 15th floor of the 270-foot tall, 17-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: construction of interior partitions, ceiling, doors, and finishes as shown on drawings filed herewith. No change to egress, use or occupancy. Related application number m00351960 and m00351970. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $4,270,000.
