CL Investment Group pays $28.7M to Extell Development for retail condos in Yorkville

Beijing-based CL Investment Group through the entity 1683 Third Avenue Retail LLC paid Extell Development’s 95th And Third LLC $28.7 million for three retail condominiums at the Kent condominium at 200 East 95th Street also known as 1683 Third Avenue in Yorkville. The deal closed on April 15, 2020, and was recorded on April 30, 2020. The transaction consists of 3 parcels, including the tax class commercial condo recorded in Acris (CC). The property is 22,563 square feet.
The average sale price per square foot is $1,272.

The contract was signed on February 13, 2020. CL Investment Group, formerly known as CheerLand Investment Group, is a Chinese development firm based in Beijing with several projects in New York City. The brokers were Avison Young’s James Nelson, Vincent Carrega, Neil Heilman, Brent Glodowski and Angela Mulder, Real Estate Weekly reported. The building was issued its initial TCO March 6, 2018.
